The 2nd Intensive Course on the Rule of Law and Fundamental Rights Protection in the EU was held in January 2026 under the scientific supervision of professor Papadopoulou in the framework of the Jean Monnet Module “R-EU-R”, funded by the European Commission. This Intensive Course was an enriching, knowledge-sharing and thought-provoking event, that brought forward the crucial place of the Rule of Law as an inherent feature of the EU and demonstrated the need to safeguard it against all odds!
